These terms apply to all purchases made through Draw Yer Dog, operated by DeGaine Designs LLC d/b/a Draw Yer Dog, a Colorado limited liability company. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
All portraits are custom-made to order by a human artist. Because of this, every order is unique and subject to the policies described on this page.
All orders require full payment at checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe, PayPal, and buy-now-pay-later options including Afterpay and Klarna.
By completing checkout you confirm that:
Promo codes must be applied at checkout. They cannot be applied retroactively to completed orders.
Rush processing fees are not eligible for promo code discounts and are charged in full regardless of any code applied to your order.
Estimated turnaround times by tier are:
Turnaround begins once your order has been processed and assigned to an artist, which happens within 24 hours of placing your order.
These are estimates, not guarantees. During high-demand periods turnaround times may be slightly longer. You'll receive an email when your portrait is complete.
Digital files are delivered via email as high-resolution downloads. The artist retains the right to post completed portraits to the Draw Yer Dog gallery unless you request otherwise at the time of ordering.
Every order includes a set number of complimentary revision rounds:
A revision round means one set of consolidated feedback. Please gather all your notes before submitting — each round of back-and-forth counts as one revision.
Additional revisions beyond your included allowance can be purchased at 30% of your original tier price each, up to a maximum of 2 additional rounds. Additional revision fees are billed separately via invoice before work on that revision begins. Work will not proceed until payment is received.
Because every portrait is a custom piece of art created specifically for you, we do not offer cash refunds once work has begun.
Store credit can be used toward any future order on Draw Yer Dog. It is non-transferable and does not expire within the 12-month window.
Original hand-drawn artwork is shipped within the United States only. We do not currently ship internationally.
Apparel (t-shirts, hoodies), home goods (sherpa blankets), and stickers featuring Draw Yer Dog artwork are produced and shipped by a third-party print-on-demand partner. These items are separate from your custom portrait and are not eligible for the revision process described above, since the artwork on them is a fixed, existing design rather than something created for you individually.
Merch orders are final sale once production begins, except in the case of a manufacturing defect, printing error, wrong item shipped, or damage in transit. If any of these apply, contact us within 5 business days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund for that item.
When you upload photos at checkout, they are stored securely in a private folder accessible only to you and the artist.
Upon delivery and full payment, you are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use your portrait for personal purposes — printing, framing, sharing on social media, and so on.
The artist retains the underlying copyright to all artwork. You may not sell, commercially reproduce, or use the portrait in advertising without a separate written agreement.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from orders placed through Draw Yer Dog will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Colorado.
